Hema Peswani is the Operations Coordinator at SIGNAL Group, where she supports the organization’s programs, events, partnerships, communications, and day-to-day operations across its international network.

Of Indian and Sindhi heritage, Ms. Peswani brings a valuable cultural perspective to SIGNAL Group’s engagement with India. Her Indian roots, upbringing in Morocco, and experience living and working in Israel’s diverse sociocultural environments have shaped her strong intercultural awareness and ability to collaborate effectively across cultural and professional contexts.

Alongside her role at SIGNAL Group, Ms. Peswani is an Assistant Lecturer in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Reichman University. She has also served there as a teaching and research assistant for courses in China studies, global politics, public policy, and international affairs. Her broader professional experience spans media and international diplomacy, community development in partnership with the Jewish Federations of North America, administrative operations and international relations at Samsung Electronics in Casablanca, and freelance work in editing, translation, consulting, photography, and graphic design. 

Ms. Peswani holds a BA in Sustainability and Government, magna cum laude, from Reichman University and is a graduate of its Argov Program in Leadership and Diplomacy. Her academic background also includes languages and intercultural communication. She is fluent in English, French, Hebrew, and Spanish and also speaks Sindhi, Hindi, and Moroccan Arabic.
